I've been playing around with this a bit lately. I might start using it to control my FX and synths in Maschine live at the show. It has this cool looking interface that you can actually project onto a screen. It makes your controller and your visuals one and the same, so everyone can see what you're doing, but it looks a little more expressive than knobs and faders.

Want Maschine but don't have the cash? Today NI just released the iPhone app version. I've been playing with it this morning and it's lots of fun. Great feel too. My favourite thing however, is that you can sketch out an idea on it, then export it into the full Maschine program for finishing later. wdyt?

A few months back I caught up with one of my favourite producers at his home in Bordeaux. Olivier is a super nice guy, and I had a great time writing this with him. I was also lucky enough to try his world famous cooking, and he introduced me to Armagnac.It's like Cognac but better :) It's also how the name of the track came about.
